Welcome

Rewind is a story-driven platform game with elements of significant decision making specifically aimed at children. Its main aim is teaching 8-12 year olds the value of making good decisions, and also that a bad decision can be reversed.

Rewind is set in Almondbridge, a fictional but very Scottish city which takes cues from major cities around the country to ensure that content is both engaging and relevant. You’ll find characters in Rewind very exciting too, with all created with the educational aim in mind.

Rewind works on all modern PCs, Macs and other Flash compatible computer systems. It’s compltely free and we’d be delighted if you’d try it. Loading will only take two ticks and won’t leave any nasties on your machine.

Realistically Scotland

The people of Almondbridge are desperate to meet you. In fact, they’re standing by waiting for your arrival at any time of the day or night. We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure that Rewind is culturally and environmentally realistic - check out that screenshot up above - you wouldn’t believe it was Scotland without that dreich sky hanging over everyone!

Rewind will provide everyone with an insight into what life is like as a teenager living in one of Scotland’s major urban or suburban areas. We’ve designed it for ages 8-12, but if you’re happy to play then the people of Almondbridge want to meet you, whether you’re 16 or 60.

But wait... who are you?

Rewind is developed by six students at the University of Abertay in Dundee. We’re all working towards careers in the interactive entertainment industry and hope you enjoy our first step. But who are we to say whether you’ll like it or not? The only way to find out is to GET REWOUND!
